The Scale-House is located just past the entrance gate. You will notice two buildings (gray in color) as you approach.
The building on the left is the Scale-House and is where customers are charged. Residential loads approach the building on the right and commercial, shingles and ALL trailers enter on the left to be weighed.
The Scale-House attendant will inspect all loads at this point and direct customers to the proper area to unload. |
The Transfer Station is located 100 yards behind the Scale-House.
All Kitchen/Bathroom trash, Electronics (TV's, computers, etc.), Pet items (litter box, pet food) and burned items are disposed of here. Items disposed of at the Transfer Station are transferred by trailer to an approved Sub-Title D Landfill.
A Transfer Station attendant is on duty to inspect loads and direct customers where to unload. |
The construction/demolition (C/D) landfill is located one mile past the entrance of the scale-house. A paved road leads to the landfill and recycle center. |
